  Seemed to be a great place for the price point when I called to book; $25 for a tent site, no hook-ups and free showers, however the experience I had was not worth the discounted price in the long-run. I had woken up early after spending the night tenting to take a shower before hitting the road. I was startled not once, but twice by the attendants. First by a man (who I presume did not mean any harm, but there is nothing more frightening to a young woman than a man walking in to the public restroom shouting while you are naked in the shower when you were not expecting anyone to be around). Not five minutes later I was startled again by a woman who came up exceptionally close to shower curtain (our faces collided when I peeked to see who it was) to ask if I was a camper and from which site I was from (the campground must have had problems in the past with people taking advantage of their free showers). This may all seem mundane, but I was scared something was going to happen. If anything this is just a reminder to practise good people skills, give you patrons the benefit of the doubt, don`t be rude and practise common courtesy.
